No I won't just rebuild everything
I got a request from @thearstainventor over on the bugs and suggestions reporting cafe !bugs that I wanted to reply to in a more open, and easy to find way. So I am posting it to my site.
Recent anti developer Twitter changes and the future for Hey.Café
Twitter used to be the developer platform early on, but a few years ago they made API changes that most developers were not happy with. They attempted to pull back and turn into a developer source again but now that Elon has taken over this is all over.
Twitter soon will require you to pay $8 or be hidden
So this is disturbing but after a interview Elon said unless you are verified and pay for Twitter blue your tweets, comments will always be shown at the bottom (or not at all) and will be almost if not impossible be found via search.
I got a little yellow console, the Playdate!
I have been excited for years to get my hands on this one and I finally have one.
Rebuilding an old project
The first site I ever made was a Pokémon fan site, and it turned into an RPG. This was so far back into the past that nothing remains for the most part of what it looked like.
First working version is online
You can now run a blog using your Hey.Café account content. It's been added on @nodehost as a package to install, and will run on any container size. It is also open source.
A new way to share updates
With improvements to the @hey APIs welcome to my journal space! Making it easy it can be viewed on a domain soon. With title support things can’t be easer to get a blog online and hopefully we will have media uploads in specific spaces soon. It will require editing but you will soon be able to place an attachment anywhere you want in your content.
